PlanSA (plansa.co.za) is a free planning tool for South Africans. We do not require an account to use the site. This policy explains what data is processed and your rights under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
PlanSA does not collect personal information on our servers. A small amount of data is stored in your browser:
This stays on your device in browser local storage. You can clear it anytime in your browser settings.
PlanSA uses Google Analytics 4 only if you select "Accept analytics" on the cookie banner. It helps us understand aggregate page use and improve the tools. If you decline, the analytics script is not loaded and every feature remains available.
You can change a stored choice by clearing site data for plansa.co.za, after which the prompt will appear again. You can also opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
PlanSA currently does not load display advertisements, ad units or the Google AdSense advertising script. Pages include a non-executable Google AdSense account meta tag used to verify site ownership during publisher review; it does not set advertising cookies or display ads.
If advertising is introduced after AdSense approval, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before advertising storage or personalised advertising is enabled.
